Mrs Buckét, the specialist commercial cleaning operation that services Wales and the South West of England, today celebrates the most successful year the company has ever seen in its 15-year history.
The Cardiff-headquartered business has seen its revenues rise from £2.9 million in 2020 and is on course for achieving £4.5 million by the end of 2021 – a 55 percent increase year-on-year. Mrs Buckét has laid out its ambitious plans to increase this to £12 million by 2025.
This news comes 12 months after a major rebrand, designed to push the company into new territories and underpin the brand’s core purpose: to change the perception of the cleaning industry.
The company’s exponential growth comes from the acquisition of 46 new clients and 58 new sites since October 2020. These include the prestigious Wales Millennium Centre, Cardiff Bus, and national haulage company, Owens.
In order to service this rapid increase in demand, Mrs Buckét has welcomed over 200 new members to its now 300-strong team.
Rachael Flanagan, CEO of Mrs Buckét, commented: “It has been an incredible year for Mrs Buckét, and I am so proud of how far we have come since our rebrand this time 12 months ago.
“To report such a great increase in our turnover in just a year is a fantastic achievement. Of course, none of it would have been possible without the incredible team I have around me who have been working tirelessly to keep our clients safe and secure during the challenges of the pandemic and beyond.
“We have some incredibly exciting plans in store for 2022. I cannot wait to evolve the business even further, welcome more fantastic talent to the team and continue working with the UK’s most forward-thinking businesses and brands.”
Business plans for the next 12 months include the introduction of several senior roles into the business, including Head of People and Culture. A further 100 people, including cleaning technicians, mobile supervisors and team leaders are also expected to be welcomed to the Mrs Buckét team to support.
