Bobbie is one of our experienced employees, having worked as a cleaner at Mrs Buckét for just over 5 years. During that time, she has become a highly valued member of our team. We sat down for a chat to hear about her experience working with us…

How would you describe a typical day at Mrs Buckét?

“On a typical day, I’d start cleaning at 11am for S4C, then later at 5pm I’d move on to clean at TFP Schemes. On some days I also work at Brewin Dolphin, Stride and Legalinx, and I love the variety of clients we get.”

What is your favourite thing about working at Mrs Buckét?

“The thing I love most about my job with Mrs Buckét is the flexibility. This job fits in well with my lifestyle, because I start after typical office hours. I’m a Keyholder, which means I go into premises after the staff have left, and make it all shiny and sparkly and new, so it’s clean for when they return to work. This role allows me to decide, within reason, what times I work at each site, which is fantastic.

“I also love the wonderful clients I work with. They make me feel at home, like I’m part of the family. I’ve even been invited to one or two of their Christmas parties, which is lovely. I think they truly appreciate me because I always do my very best for them.”

What opportunities and career highlights have you had while working at Mrs Buckét?

“I’ve had plenty of opportunities to grow and learn over my years working for Mrs Buckét, and while not something I wanted to pursue further, was offered opportunity for promotion which showed me that I was thought of highly by the company. I really love it when my manager or a client makes a positive comment on my work as it fills me with pride and makes me feel truly valued.”

How has Mrs Buckét supported your career?

“I really like my job, which I know isn’t something everybody can claim. I feel supported at Mrs Buckét because the managers are always on hand to talk to if an issue arises on the job, and I feel like I’m valued as part of a successful team. To celebrate my fifth anniversary at the company, they sent me a lovely bouquet of flowers.”
